POEMS FOR THE BABIES

Each child that comes into Garden Of Innocence receives a poem written especially for them by a volunteer. These poems are read as part of our memorial service for that child.

If you would like to send us a poem, please email it to robert@gardenofinnocence.com Specific poetry writing skills are not important to us; however we do ask that you not include what may have been on the heart or mind of the mother and do not mention "abandonment" or "thrown away". Your poem is for the baby and the beautiful service he/she is given today. We are sending this child home with the love and dignity of friends who are now family. Please, no more than 12 lines and less than 100 words, would be greatly appreciated. Thank you!!

12-year BLESSING OF THE GARDEN

Your time was short
Your spirit strong
Oh brave tiny soul
to God you go
At last you rest
Our hearts, our love you stole

Adam was our first baby laid to rest in Garden of Innocence San Diego
